From the Classroom to Your Career

Fremont University is committed to delivering a high quality, fast paced and supportive education to all students. We recognize the challenges that many students experience in the community college system. From unavailable or filled classes, to minimal support services, to programs that are not focused on job-ready skills, to a lack of preparation and support in finding employment after graduation, the junior college system often fails its students, whose goals are to graduate and find a job in their chosen field. At Fremont University, we address each of these needs through an engaging, career-focused education and a dedicated team of advisors assigned to each student, which assures that every individual’s unique needs are met. Most programs are designed to allow students to earn a certificate or diploma that qualifies them to pursue employment while still in school, working towards their degree. We are dedicated to your educational and career success, not only while you are a student, but also after graduation.

Getting Your Degree Should Be Convenient

According to the Los Angeles Times, about half of the students enrolled in California’s community colleges take more than four years to graduate, due in part to insufficient course offerings. This results in years of extra expenses and lost wages. * At Fremont University, our fast-paced certificate, diploma and degree programs are designed to prepare you to pursue a job in your chosen career in 7-15 months. All students will be scheduled from the very beginning for every class they need each term. Students in campus-based programs will have consistent class days and times from the very beginning, and those in online programs have the convenience of 24/7 access to their online classrooms. You just need to focus on your schoolwork, and leave the rest to us. * Source: The Los Angeles Times, 2014

Learning Focused on Your Career

Every program we offer is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue entry-level employment in your chosen occupation. Our faculty are highly experienced professionals who are currently working in their fields, assuring that students are learning up-to-date concepts that are valuable to employers. In most programs, students have the ability to earn certificate or diploma after 7-10 months of school, which readies them to seek employment while continuing an education towards their degree.

We Are Dedicated to Your Job Search

Fremont University takes a one-on-one approach to career planning. Each student has access to the Career Development team on day one of their studies and is encouraged to meet with them once a term. Career planning is individualized and tailored to the needs of every student. Services include resume preparation, cover letter writing, interview techniques, 21st-century job searching, professional networking, mock interviewing, and more. In addition, all students take a course in career development to further prepare them for pursuing employment.
