Now Offering Multimedia Design Program at Fremont University
Fremont University recently announced two new degree programs available through the College of Multimedia Design. The programs, an associate’s degree in Multimedia Design and an associate’s degree in Multimedia Design – emphasis in Fashion Design, will be offered online beginning during the first term of 2013 on January 7th.
Students can earn an associate’s degree in Multimedia Design or Multimedia Design, emphasis in Fashion Design in 15 months. The Multimedia Design program is fully-online, while Multimedia Design, emphasis in Fashion Design is a hybrid program where students complete coursework primarily online and attend class on campus one day per week.
The Multimedia Design program offers classes in graphic design, web design, web development, video editing, branding and marketing, and visual communications. Students will receive training in Adobe Creative Suite software applications, equipping them with the skills to produce digital images, video clips, motion graphics, and websites. Upon program completion, graduates will be prepared for jobs as graphic designers, web designers, content developers, advertising associates, production artists, and other career options.
The Multimedia Design, emphasis in Fashion Design program offers classes in computer pattern drafting, draping, garment construction, fashion collections, and fashion show preparation. Graduates of this program will have the necessary training for a job as a fashion designer, visual merchandiser, design entrepreneur, and other career options.
